The four day festival concentrates on the screening of film and video works, exhibitions and discussions which assess the fragmentation of collective forms of fictions via individual and subversive connotations of the real. In parallel the presentation of visual art pieces, performances, film and video screenings and Internet projects will complement the program. As a foil against one another, image media vs media imagery will be considered in their own (inherently &#8216;filmic&#8217;) light. As such the title <em>subfiction<\/em> will give way to a wide spectrum of experimental attempts within the environment of artistic imagery which conscientiously cross the traditional media based boundaries. It is within this dialectic of various intermingled networks that both the similarities as well as the differences within contemporary media begin to appear. Das viert\u00e4gige Festival besch\u00e4ftigt sich in Filmvorf\u00fchrungen, Ausstellungen und Diskussionsforen mit der Fragmentierung kollektiver Fiktionen, mit individuellen und subversiven Realit\u00e4tsentw\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n<p>Bildende Kunst, Performances, Film- und Videovorf\u00fchrungen sowie Internetprojekte werden parallel pr\u00e4sentiert. In einem Geflecht aus Bild-Medien und Medien-Bildern sollen in diesem Jahr die unterschiedlichen Positionen ins (zuweilen filmische) Licht ger\u00fcckt werden. So l\u00e4sst der Titel subfiction breite Feldversuche im k\u00fcnstlerischen Bildmilieu zu und ist bewusst auf Grenz\u00fcberschreitungen zwischen den Bildmedien angelegt. In diesem Netzwerk der Gattungen treten sowohl inhaltliche als auch formale Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede offen zutage. Verfolgt werden k\u00f6nnen die Konstruktionen von verschiedensten gesellschaftlichen wie auch pers\u00f6nlichen \u201eFiktionen\u201c, die in der Kunst verdeutlicht oder entbl\u00f6sst werden. Die von der Werkleitz Gesellschaft eingeladenen Gastkuratoren haben daher eine besonders differenzierte Auswahl der Beitr\u00e4ge getroffen. Es sollen voneinander abweichende \u201eVorstellungen\u201c in Form von bewegten &#8211; und stillen &#8211; Bildern oder Objekten als subjektive Projektionsfl\u00e4chen f\u00fcr die Fiktionen der Festivalbesucher angeboten werden.
