Following up on the idea to reflect social phenomena through art as well as to promote critical debate, the biennale initiators have experimented with various forms and formats of organisation. The Werkleitz Biennale is the first biennial in Germany and the first one in a small village and its rural surroundings. Ausgehend vom Interesse, mit und durch Kunst gesellschaftliche Ph\u00e4nomene \u00f6ffentlich zu reflektieren und\u00a0 zu diskutieren, experimentieren die Teams der Biennale mit verschiedenen Formaten und Organisationsmodellen. Die Werkleitz Biennale ist die erste Biennale Deutschlands und die erste im Rahmen eines kleinen Dorfes des l\u00e4ndlichen Raums.
